Mara Gordon

Mara Gordon is a world-renowned leader in the medical Cannabis ecosystem. She used her experience as a Process Engineer helping Fortune 500 companies create smart software, to develop Cannabis formulations and therapeutic dosage regimes for thousands of patients in California, dramatically improving their health, quality of life and longevity.

Mara is on the boards of Aunt Zelda’s and Zelira Therapeutics, the companies bring together some of the world’s leading researchers and doctors, active in the study and use of medical cannabis to treat a variety of diseases. Currently, she is involved in preclinical research for multiple forms of cancer and cognitive decline related to Diabetes, as well as in clinical trials for Autism, chronic pain and insomnia.

Recognizing the need for patient-oriented software, Mara Gordon founded Octopi Wellness. Her pioneering work with medical cannabis was recently reported in the Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein documentary, «Weed the People» (available on Netflix), as well as in the Windy Borman films «Mary Janes: Women of Weed» and in «The Medicine in Marijuana» by Ben Daitz.
