Mariana has more than 7 years of professional experience in consumer protection, health, health regulation and corporate law. She has participated in legal advice to national and foreign entities in the review and negotiation of specialized contracts in pharmaceutical, regulatory, goods, services, storage, distribution, bioequivalence and pharmacovigilance studies. She has also advised different participants from the pharmaceutical, alcohol and food industry in regulatory consultations and various administrative procedures presented before federal authorities such as the Federal Commission for Protection Against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) and the Federal Attorney for Consumer Protection (PROFECO) . Lic. Larrea has been a speaker at various national and international conferences regarding the legalization of cannabis in Mexico. She has also worked on the incorporation of different entities whose corporate purpose is related to cannabis and its distribution in Mexico.

She completed a law degree and a business law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
